In danger of extinction

According to data from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), approximately 5,200 species of animals are currently in danger of extinction. In addition, broken down by class,  amphibians 41%, mammals 27%, conifers 34%, birds 13%, sharks & rays 37%, reef corals 36%, selected crustaceans 28%, reptiles 21%, cycads 69%, are in danger of extinction.
